We’re excited to welcome you to our community and we hope you enjoy your stay! Read on to learn a little more about the apartment you will be staying in, as well as general information about the building. Scroll to the bottom of the page for check out instructions.

entering the building + apartment

When you arrive you may temporarily park on Bailey on the south side of the building while you retrieve your parking pass.

Retrieve Your Parking Pass

Enter the building entry code you were provided on the keypad at the building entrance. 


Once inside you can take the elevator or stairs up to the second floor and make your way to the apartment.


Enter the apartment entry code on the apartment door keypad. Your parking pass is inside the apartment. (Hit the yale logo to wake up the keypad).

PARKING

Once you have your pass from your room you will need to move your vehicle to the Royse + Brinkmeyer Lot. You may park in any of the spaces highlighted orange on the map below. These spots have ORANGE CURBS to help you locate them. Hang the parking pass from your rearview mirror.


No other spaces are available in the lot. Your car will be towed from any of the numbered spaces.

Return Your Parking Pass

Please remember to return your parking pass to the parking pass return box at the end of your stay.


The return box is located adjacent to the Bailey St/South Entrance.



There is a charge for not returning your parking pass.

About the Apartment

We’ve set up your apartment to give you a stress free stay!


Toilet paper can be found in the bathroom, under the sink. There is also shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the shelves to the right of the shower.


In the kitchenette, you will find a supply of coffee and sweetener in the cabinet above the coffee maker. There are cleaning supplies and paper towels under the sink.


Should you need to do laundry you can use the common laundry machines. Refer to the building layout page for directions to the laundry room on the second floor or the basement laundry room.


We hope these little touches help make you feel at home. :)

About the thermostat: The building's HVAC system needs to be sest to air conditioning to work. During the early spring the building may not yet be set to cooling. In this case, please do not switch the thermostat from "heating" to "cooling". This can cause the temperature in the room to rise rather than fall. If the system is set to heat and you would like to cool your room you will need to open the windows.

Building Rules

  1. A parking pass must be clearly displayed when parking in the Logan street lot. Parking instructions can be found in the parking section of the welcome packet.
  2. This is a NON-SMOKING building. Thank you for not smoking.
  3. Please observe the building’s quiet hours, which are 10:00 pm-7:00 am.
  4. Please do not tamper with or disable the smoke detectors. This can cause problems for the whole building. Contact us at (217) 352-1129 for assistance.
  5. There is a charge for not returning your parking pass.

Additional laundry can be found in the basement of the building.

The apartment is equipped with a Roku Smart TV. Feel free to download or log in to any of your favorite streaming apps! The TV should be set up and ready to go, but don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any issues.

The apartment is equipped with WiFi. The login information is posted in a picture frame inside the apartment.

Check out procedures

Check out is at 11 AM. Late checkouts may be arranged ahead of time, but without notice will incur a late check out fee.

Before you go, we ask that you do a few things:


  1. Turn off all lights and appliances.
  2. If you are so inclined, please write in our guest book! We love reading what you enjoyed about your stay!
  3. Return your parking pass to the parking pass return box adjacent to the south entrance. Failure to return the pass will result in a fee.
  4. Once you’re checked out, we’d love it if you could leave us a review! Feedback is always useful and welcomed!
