  • VP of Community Management

    Salary: $48,000/year


    We are looking for a VP of Community Management to join our team! The VP of Community Management is responsible for the direction and development of Community Managers in the day-to-day service of Royse + Brinkmeyer residents.  Candidates should possess strong resident relation and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively, train, and lead other managers in fostering successful resident relationships resulting in strong, healthy communities. 


    Essential Job Functions

    • Sets goals and expectations for community managers to ensure retention and occupancy goals are being achieved 
    • Ensure that the appearance and physical aspects of the community meets company standards through routine site and safety inspections 
    • Communicates concerns and requests for physical upkeep of the community 
    • Supervise community manager activities to ensure compliance with company policy 
    • Trains, motivates and supervises community managers in order to achieve operational goals of assigned community. 
    • Performs ongoing formal and informal performance evaluation, 
    • Reviews and approves time-sheets 
    • Provides excellent customer service and maintains highest standards for resident service 
    • Insures monthly lighting inspections are completed 
    • Regularly walks properties with community managers to set expectations 
    • Report physical deficiencies of properties to Director of Maintenance 
    • Snow removal and ice prevention during winter months, as needed 
    • Participate in staff meetings and staff development opportunities 

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma/GED 
    • Leasing Agent Licensure 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills 
    • Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills 
    • Superior attention to detail and integrity
